I Dont like the Nintendo Switch

I feel that the Switch is a step backwards, sure it has high power but at what cost, the design is far too out that, to me it looks like a Tablet that you have two Wii Remote stuck on the sides of it  when not docked in for a console that is smaller than the WiiU but yet has the same screen. Not to mention, I hate the fact that I would have pay $300 for it  so something that is so small, why be cheaper like about $200-$250 not $300.

Before you guys think that I'm complaining about the price but there is more...

Also I barely use my home consoles compared to my 3DS that I use everyday even when I'm not on the go, in my mindset, the Switch is another home console has a battery to charge when it dies as I know myself that I'll barely touch until I get new game for it or if my family has guest coming over to a party or something. I hate the fact that they are trying to make the Switch the newest system to play on the go but I noticed that no one in my cafeteria at the college I go to never has a Switch out, it's either the WiiU, Wii or Gamecube but that is mainly because they are Smash fans and enjoy Smash competitively so most likely when Smash Switch is announced and out, and then the Switch will be popping out more at my college.

Still I don't find the Switch that impressive and I have played demos and I don't the feel that urge to play it again or even buy it unlike Nintendo's other consoles from the past including the WiiU which I have point out for it being an accessory for the Wii. I may be the odd one out but I hate the Switch and even more now that one of my favorite series is now going to be on it and that really ticked me off that something I love since Pokemon Blue is now going to be on a Nintendo Console that I hate.

As I said before it's a step back in my opinion compared to the WiiU and Wii, I enjoyed it's unique control system with the motion controls and not to mention sure the WiiU didn't get much of a library of games  but it has some cool games that I have been thinking about getting like Splatoon 1, and Pikimin 3 surprisingly as I never played a Pikimin game. I find that Pokemon has no need to be brought over the Switch as it's not doing bad but the complete Opposite with it doing very well with Zelda, Splatoon 2 and coming out next week Mario Odyssey, so there is no need for Pokemon come on to a system that has 2 out 3 Nintendo cores being Mario and Zelda.

When I heard that they were making a Pokemon game for the Switch for 2018 or later, I passed it over for thinking it being a spin-off game in hopes for something similar to the Shadow Pokemon Duology aka Colosseum and Gale to Darkness or another Mystery Dungeon game but now with the news about the main core series being on the Switch, it bothers me to no end at something I enjoy on the go is now going to be stuck at home as I'll know that I'll take the Switch if I get one out of the house unless it's for the Roadtrip but I'll usually end up playing at the hotel that me and my family stay at.
